STENTOFON® & AMAG Technology enhance Strategic Alliance

AlphaCom E IP system and Symmetry 2008 v6.1 Provides Robust Security Management Solution. Kansas City, MO – AMAG Technology’s Symmetry Security Management System integrates with the STENTOFON® AlphaCom E IP system to provide an integrated Voice over IP Security Management solution.  Symmetry 2008 v6.1 provides a powerful IP component to enrich the integration.

The Symmetry and AlphaCom integration operates over the LAN to provide a graphical intercom connection and logging capability.  Intercom requests are quickly logged and displayed on the Symmetry Security Management System workstation screen. Symmetry links intercom events with integrated security functions such as camera call up.  If an intercom request comes in, Symmetry immediately routes it to the nearest camera and an image appears on the video matrix.  Security operators not only see exactly where the intercom event occurred, but they can hear what is happening at the location and dispatch an officer if necessary.

The Symmetry Security Management System, the backbone of the solution, operates in an IP environment and provides the architecture and operating platform to manage events.  STENTOFON’s IP communication solution provides voice, image and data links via the standard Ethernet network architecture allowing integration of all streams into one cohesive solution.

“AMAG and STENTOFON have had an established interface between their products for years, and since 2006 an IP gateway,” said Zenitel USA President, Dan Rothrock. “The IP technical advancement of the STENTOFON system allows the tightest integration between the two systems offering the best of breed in access control, audio and video. “The AMAG/STENTOFON integration allows disparate systems to be integrated through the Symmetry Security Management platform providing a true value to our customers,” said AMAG Technology, President Bob Sawyer.
